OUR STORY
Our Story
Victory Tabernacle Calgary held its first service on March 1, 2026, with a mandate from the Lord to be “another lighthouse in the city” – a place where the Gospel light of the Word of God for this age would shine brightly, bringing healing to the hurting, salvation to sinners, and strength and encouragement to the saints.
From its beginning, Victory Tabernacle has carried a burden to share the Message of the Hour and to make the Gospel accessible to people throughout the city of Calgary. As part of this outreach, the local assembly has used music as a means of drawing people together and creating opportunities to worship God and share His Word.
Three to four times each year, we invite people from across Calgary to join us for a Night of Worship. Through music, instrumentation, and congregational praise, we seek to create an atmosphere where people can turn their hearts toward God. At these gatherings, we have witnessed the presence of God and have heard testimonies of His healing and comforting touch upon the lives of those in attendance. These evenings also provide an opportunity to briefly share the Word of God, invite sinners to repentance, and encourage and strengthen believers
During the summer months, we also organize outdoor outreaches in parks throughout the city. Our team of saxophonists plays Christian music in public spaces, drawing the attention of passersby and creating opportunities for personal interaction. We distribute Gospel tracts and speak with those who are interested, believing that the printed Word can be used by God to bring sinners to a knowledge of the Truth.
Although we are a young assembly, our desire is to remain faithful to the purpose for which God established Victory Tabernacle Calgary: to lift up Jesus Christ, proclaim the Word of God, share the Message of the Hour, and be a light to the city of Calgary. We look forward with faith to what God will continue to do as we grow together in the Word and reach others with the Gospel.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our beliefs, simply stated
The foundation of our faith is the Word of God and the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
The Bible
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and the final authority for our faith, doctrine, and manner of life. We believe the Scriptures are God’s revealed truth and the foundation for the faith and life of every believer
Jesus Christ
We believe in one eternal God, the Creator of heaven and earth, who has revealed Himself throughout Scripture and was manifested in the flesh in the Person of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, our Lord and Saviour, who died for our sins, rose again, and is alive forevermore..
Salvation
We believe salvation is God’s gift, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work at Calvary. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, through which God gives new life and enables the believer to walk and live their lives according to the Word of God
The Church
We believe in the apostolic pattern of the early Church, including water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We observe the Lord’s Supper and foot washing as ordinances given by our Lord. We believe the gifts and operation of the Holy Spirit continue to edify the Body of Christ today.
The Message
We believe God promised a prophetic ministry in the last days to turn the hearts of His people back to the original faith of the fathers. We believe this promise, reflected in Malachi 4:5–6 and Revelation 10:7, was fulfilled in the ministry of Brother William Marrion Branham, calling the Church back to the Bible, the faith once delivered, and the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Our Desire
Our desire is to be a simple, Bible-believing, Christ-centred people—living by the Word of God, walking in the Holy Spirit, loving one another, and sharing the Gospel with everyone. We believe the Message points us to Jesus Christ revealed in Scripture and desire to live ready for His soon return.

Proclaim
We proclaim Jesus Christ and the Word of God, holding to the faith once delivered to the saints.

We seek to walk in the Holy Spirit, in holiness, love, and obedience, allowing the life of Christ to be expressed through us.

We take the Gospel into Calgary and beyond through evangelism, music, fellowship, and practical service.

Prepare
We believe the Message of the Hour is God’s call back to the original apostolic faith, helping believers grow and be ready for the return of Jesus Christ.
